Working with Events
Events define when state transitions occur. An event can be initiated by a user (such as a button click) or by the system (such as a timer counting down).
NOTE! When you set up a transition, events and actions will be defined for you. Chances are you will never have to define an event.
Adding and Removing Events
NOTE! When you set up a transition, events and actions will be defined for you. Chances are you will rarely have to add an event.
TO ADD AN EVENT
1. On the Requirements Analysis tab, right-click in the Events box and click Add Event Instance To System.
2. In the Please enter the name of your event instance box, type a name for the event.
TO DELETE AN EVENT
On the Requirements Analysis tab, right-click in the Events box and click Remove Event From System.
Viewing the Details of System Events
You can take a closer look at the details of system events.
TO VIEW THE DETAILS OF SYSTEM EVENTS
On the Requirements Analysis tab, in the Events box, right-click an event and click View System Event Instances.
